The trip that started it all ... 25 days from London to Rome with just our backpacks, June/July 2001.
Back in spring 2003, this time in a car. In eight days we hit France, Germany, Belgium and Holland. Crazy.
Lured by the biggest street party in the world, we returned to Scotland in December 2003 for New Year's Eve — Hogmanay.
For my 30th birthday we cruised the Baltic, spending two days in St. Petersburg, Russia, and topping it off with three days in Paris.
A last minute discount fare to Milan and a couple weeks between jobs sent us to Italy in the fall of 2004.
We tracked down family in Slovakia on a trip to Eastern Europe in May 2005.
Back to Italy, this time to Tuscany with friends, in March 2006.
